About the Moody Planetarium:
Located on the campus of Texas Tech, and part of the Museum of Texas Tech University, the Moody Planetarium is the longest-serving planetarium in Texas. The planetarium features a 30-foot dome and seating for 78.
Regularly scheduled public shows are held Tuesday through Sunday, usually during the afternoon. Special star shows and laser shows are also scheduled, usually with both afternoon and evening times offered.
The special star shows and laser shows have included in the past such things as "Laser Beatles," a light show set to Beatles music.
There is a very small admission charge to Moody Planetarium shows. Group shows can also be arranged.
