Located on the east end of Midland's Central Fire Station building, the Midland Downtown Lions Club Fire Museum displays artifacts from the Midland Fire Department's past.
Included are the first two fire trucks in the city of Midland, named, naturally enough, Engine No. 1 and Engine No. 2. The museum also displays an original collection of early fire markers. The walls are lined with historical photographs tracing the development of firefighting.
The Midland Downtown Lions Club Fire Museum is open daily 9 a.m.-9 p.m. There is no admission charge.
