About the W.H. Stark House:
This three-story Victorian-styled home was completed in 1894 and is registered as a Texas Historic Landmark. The W.H. Stark House was the home of the family which today is the namesake for the Stark Museum of Art and numerous other "Stark"-named locations around the Orange area.
The W.H. Stark House features 15 rooms, a windowed turret, gables and other architectural timepieces. The period furnishings are original.
The W.H. Stark House is open for tours by appointment only, but there is no admission charge. Admission is limited to adults and children ages 12 and over. Tours by appointment are available Tuesdays through Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
