About the Rockport Center for the Arts:
The Rockport Center for the Arts is located between the Rockport Harbor and Aransas Bay. The picturesque setting adds to the experience - especially the experience of viewing the center's Sculpture Garden with the maritime scenes as the background.
The Main Gallery of the Rockport Center for the Arts hosts shows ranging from sporting-themed art to modern expressionism. Exhibits include all forms, and artists from locals to internationally acclaimed.
Also on-site are the Palette Gift Shop, plus the Visual Arts and Pottery/Sculpture studios, which offer lessons and workshops throughout the year.
The Rockport Center for the Arts is open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday 1-4 p.m. Admission is free.
