About Angelo State University Planetarium:
The Angelo State University Planetarium is the fourth-largest planetarium in the U.S. that is on a university campus. It uses a Spitz 512 projector that is capable of projecting more than 5,000 stars.
The facility is a classroom for astronomy, physics, physical sciences and geology students at ASU, but it also offers programs for the general public.
Public programs are scheduled on Thursday nights, and sometimes on Saturday nights. There is a small admission charge.
