About the Railway Museum of San Angelo:
The Railway Museum of San Angelo is housed in the Historic Orient-Santa Fe Depot, near Fort Concho.
The museum displays railroad and depot artifacts, train memorabilia, and model train dioramas that depict the San Angelo of the 1920s. An engine, box car and caboose are permanently displayed on the grounds of the depot.
The Railway Museum of San Angelo is open on Saturdays only, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., but there are special events scheduled throughout the year.
