About the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas:
The Freemasons are the oldest continuously operating organization in the State of Texas. And they've accumulated quite a history in the timespan, some of which is on display or available to researchers at the Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas.
Members and non-Masons alike are allowed to conduct research in the lodge's library and museum, which includes a large military exhibit and historic artifacts. And the lodge's records on past members are available for geneological research.
The Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas building is an attraction unto itself, with impressive architecture and a main auditorium.
The Masonic Grand Lodge of Texas library and museum are open Monday-Friday (except holidays), 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
