About the Texas Sports Hall of Fame:
The Texas Sports Hall of Fame is an "educational museum established to celebrate and preserve Texas' sports history." And Texas has a lot of sports history!
There are hundreds of inductees into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, and visitors to the hall will learn a little more about every one of them. There is a ton of memorabilia exhibited, ranging from jerseys and other equipment to photos and documents to trophies and interactive displays.
All sports are represented here, and there are special sections dedicated exclusively to the high school football and basketball halls of fame, plus the tennis hall of fame.
The Texas Sports Hall of Fame is open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday noon-5 p.m. There is a moderate admission charge.
