Austin sits in Central Texas, representing the eastern edge of the Texas Hill Country. Austin is about 75 miles northeast of San Antonio via IH-35. It's about three hours south of Dallas-Fort Worth (also via IH-35), and about three hours west of Houston via US 290.
Austin Bergstrom International Airport is served by most of the top airlines. And San Antonio International Airport is about 90 miles from Downtown Austin.
