About: La Paloma's original nine holes opened in 1987, but it was later expanded to a full 18 by Jeffrey Blume, a onetime associate of Robert Van Hagge. The course features several lakes and rock outcroppings, and there's even a waterfall off of West Amarillo Creek. Large cottonwood trees and native grasses complete the aesthetics. Although La Paloma is private, non-members can arrange access through their local pro.
