About: Riverside Golf Course opened as the second home of Austin Country Club, which moved to this track from the 9-hole Hancock Golf Course. Its original design was by the legendary architect Perry Maxwell, and it was later updated by his son Press Maxwell. Just five minutes from Downtown Austin, Riverside Golf Course during its Austin Country Club days was the course at which Harvey Penick did much of his teaching. Riverside Golf Course features mature trees and scenic water hazards.
