About: Roy Kizer Golf Course was built alongside the city of Austin's Jimmy Clay course, opening in the late 1990s, and the two courses share the same clubhouse. Roy Kizer Golf Course was built on the site of an old wastewater plant, but it looks like it's been there forever. It's a links-style layout, spread over almost 200 acres, and is bordered by cedars, elms and oaks. Thirty-five acres of lakes and 22 acres of wetlands were created for resident and migratory waterfowl. Roy Kizer Golf Course is a par-71 that plays 6,749 from the tips.
