About: Founded in 1912, Lakewood Country Club was the site then of just the second 18-hole course in Dallas. Scotsman Tom Bendelow designed the original course, which was touched up by Ralph Plummer in the 1950s, then renovated by the team of Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore in 1995. The Lakewood Country Club course now measures 6,750 yards with a par of 71.
