About: Fort Worth's venerable Colonial Country Club has long been considered one of the best golf courses in the U.S. Originally designed by John Bredemus, it was later updated by Perry Maxwell. Colonial is the site every year of the PGA Tour event named after the course. It is a tree-lined, tight course with nearly 100 bunkers, and one that demands precision off the tee and on the approach shots. The par-70 track measures 7,010 yards from the championship tees with a course rating of 73.7 and slope of 132. Colonial Country Club has been nicknamed "Hogan's Alley" because of the success that Ben Hogan had at the course.
