About: When Rockwood Golf Course opened in 1938, it was an 18-hole track designed by John Bredemus. Later, nine holes were added by Ralph Plummer, and today Rockwood is a 27-hole municipal facility. The Red and White nines are usually played together for an 18-hole round, measure 6,340 yards and play to a par-71. The Blue Nine is considered a more difficult nine, playing 3,557 yards from the back tees with lots of contour on the greens.
