About: One of the largest municipal golf complexes in the U.S., Firewheel Golf Park offers 63 holes of golf over 600 acres. According to the National Golf Foundation, Firewheel is the largest golf complex in Texas and the third largest in the country. There are two 18-hole tracks at Firewheel Golf Park, the Old Course and Lakes Course, plus a 27-hole layout, the Bridges Course. The three nines of the Bridges Course can be played in any combination. This layout boasts large bentgrass greens, rolling terrain, mature oak and pecan trees, plus Rowlett Creek and Spring Creek both meander around the course.
