About: Horseshoe Bay Resort, on the banks of Lake LBJ, is the only facility in the U.S. to offer three Robert Trent Jones Sr.-designed golf courses in one locations: Slick Rock, Ram Rock and Apple Rock. All three are considered among the best and most challenging courses in Texas. The resort also has a lighted, 18-hole putting course called Whitewater. The par-72 Apple Rock plays to a 74.0 course rating over its 6,999-yard length. Apple Rock plays through high, rocky terrain with excellent views of Lake LBJ below. Water is in play on only a few holes, although No. 12 does play across a finger of the lake.
