About: This 27-hole facility takes its name from the fact that it is built on what was once the site of a dairy farm that housed one of the world's largest herd of Jersey cattle. Jersey Meadow Golf Course began in the 1950s as an employee-only course for a company called Cameron Iron Works. It was redesigned by architect Carlton Gipson in the 1980s to become the public golf course it is now. It is now a municipal course owned by the City of Jersey Village on the northwest side of Houston.
