About: Magnolia Creek Golf Links is a course that tries to import the feel of Scottish links courses to south Houston. Magnolia Creek's 27 holes are wide open, but tall native grasses are hazards off the fairways, deep bunkers grab errant shots and the wind can play games with your game. Each of the three nines plays hard and fast. Those three nines, by the way, are named the Scotland Nine, Ireland Nine and England Nine. All three tip out at more than 3,600 yards. The 18-hole course rating, regardless of the two nines played, is around 75.0.
