About: Meadowbrook Golf Course, the city of Lubbock's municipal golf complex, is situated inside Mackenzie Park. The Yellow House Canyon provides terrain unusual for flatland Lubbock. The original 18 holes, now known as the Canyon Course, opened in the early 1930s. A second 18, the Creek Course, followed. The Canyon Course at Meadowbrook Golf Course is a par-72 track that tips out around 6,500 yards. It has a 71.5 course rating and 122 slope.
