About: Located near the corner of Highway 90 and Highway 211 on San Antonio's west side, The Golf Club of Texas bills itself as "Texas' only Lee Trevino Signature Course." Don't let that fool you - Trevino didn't have anything to do with the design of this course. But that's not a bad thing, because the real designer did an excellent job. The Golf Club of Texas is laid out on gently rolling ground with native Texas grasses and wildflowers, cacti and mesquite trees providing the framework. Golf Club of Texas plays to a par-72, at 7,022 yards, with wide fairways and huge greens.
