About: The Republic Golf Club opened on the Salado Creek flood plain just minutes to the south of Downtown San Antonio in 2003. It immediately became one of the favorites of local golfers. The Republic has wide fairways lined by oaks, elms and mesquite trees, and large welcoming greens. According to some, its collection of par-5 holes is among the best in San Antonio. The Republic Golf Club is a par-71 that tips out at 7,007 yards.
