About: The Sinton Municipal Golf Course is inside of Rob and Bessie Welder Park just north of the city. The back nine was added to the course many years after the front nine was originally built, and the two nines are very different. The front nine is flat, short and wide open. The back nine is also flat, but more trees are found around fairways and greens, and water comes into play on a few holes. The back nine has a more verdant feel to it, and and is longer.
