About: Cypresswood Golf Club features 54 holes of golf with the Tradition Course, Creek Course and Cypress Course. The 800-acre facility sits in a heavily wooded area of North Houston at the confluence of Spring and Cypress creeks. The Tradition Course has been named best public golf course in the Houston area by the Houston Chronicle on multiple occasions and has ranked highly among the Dallas Morning News' picks for best public courses in the state. The Tradition Course is considered the best of the three tracks at Cypresswood Golf Club, although it's a close call. The Tradition Course is, as its name suggest, a traditional parkland design. It plays 7,222 yards from the back tees, with a 74.4 course rating.
