About: About 20 minutes north of San Antonio via US 281, River Crossing Golf Club opened as a public course but later went private. Several of the opening holes, including a par-3 with an island green, are visible from the highway. Those holes appear open and somewhat links-ish with tall grasses swaying in the breeze. Most of River Crossing Golf Club, however, plays through trees with modest elevation changes and several creeks running around or through the course. River Crossing plays to 6,821 yards and is a par-72.
