About: While part of The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center, the Panther Trail Course is open to the public. Robert von Hagge created the original layout in 1975, but Roy Case headed a complete renovation in 2002. From the back tees, Panther Trail plays to a 73.6 course rating and 130 slope. Panther Trail is one of two courses at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center; the Oaks Course is the second. The better-known TPC Course (now called the East Course), plus the Palmer Course and Player Course, are no longer part of this resort, but now make up The Woodlands Country Club.
