About: The back tees at Twin Rivers Golf Club - formerly named Bear Ridge Golf Club - are known as the "Big Jake" tees after co-designer Peter Jacobsen, and if you thought Jacobsen's singing on his Golf Channel show was tough to handle, well ... try the 7,487-yard-long Big Jake tees. Twin Rivers Golf Club briefly held the title of longest course in Texas. The course, home to the Baylor men's and women's golf teams, has a "Signature Stretch" rather than a signature hole. That stretch is holes 14 through 16. No. 14 is a par-3 with an 85-foot vertical drop; No. 15 is tight par-4 with trees and the Bosque River running down the entire left side; No. 16 is the shortest par-5, yet the No. 1 handicap hole. Another feature sure to catch your eye: The greens all sit level with their fairways.
