About: Course owner and designer Wes Mickle built Canyon West Golf Club on a portion of his 800-acre ranch. Wes' son Stan helped in the building and is director of golf. The course opened in 1997, and limestone quarried on-site during the building is a theme around the holes: waterfalls, streams, fountains, driving range markers, all are built of large limestone slabs. Canyon West Golf Club is a par-72 track whose maximum yardage is 6,636.
